Sculptures placed around iconic City office buildings
TWENTY striking sculptures have been placed around some of the City of London’s most iconic office buildings.
The eclectic collection by seventeen high profile artists includes a seven-metre-tall cast iron bust and a magic lantern in the shows of the Gherkin at St Mary Axe.
Also on display are steel & stone sculptures inspired by the stars and constellations next to the Leadenhall Building and colourful interlocking loops made from lead at the entrance to 99 Bishopsgate.
The sculptures are part of the Civic Trust award winning Sculpture in the City initiative.
