Serviced Offices in Surrey
Box Hill, Surrey
Surrey in the south of England is a beautiful county, with rolling hilly countryside, chocolate box villages and market towns. It’s also a very good place to do business, with excellent office facilities available and excellent transport links from Gatwick and nearby Heathrow Airports, and road access in to and around London with the A3 and M25. Regular train services go to and from London Waterloo.
The county town of Surrey is now Guildford: a beautiful town on the river Wey with excellent local shops, a cathedral, a university and theatres. There are some excellent services offices in Guildford with a wide choice including period buildings in the historic town or modern space in the Regus business centre close to the Cathedral.
Close to Guildford is the market town of Godalming, which can claim to be the first town anywhere to have a publicly available electricity supply, all the way back in 1881. With its charming pepper pot town council building and nice range of local shops, this attractive well heeled town on the River Wey has several serviced office centres available.
Reigate (pictured right), one of Surrey’s historic towns, lies at the foot of the North Downs. Large companies such as Canon UK and esure have their offices in or close to the town, which has a population of about 22,000. There are three business centres in the town: in London Street, in Bell Street and on the High Street.
The former county town of Surrey was Kingston upon Thames, and people do still refer to Kingston as being in Surrey although technically it’s now a London borough but Surrey County Council retains its administrative headquarters in Kingston.
