CAPITA is to move over one thousand employees to new offices in the City of London.

The staff from the company’s Property and Infrastucture division, formerly known as Capita Symonds, will occupy the new HQ in the Square Mile.

The company is to sublease about 100,000 sq ft of office space from JP Morgan at 10 Aldermanbury.

The recently built office block has eight upper floors and is close to historic Guildhall. About half of the employees moving to the new HQ will be moving from offices in Proctor Street and Shaftesbury Avenue.

Richard Marchant, chief executive, property & infrastructure, Capita said: “This is a hugely exciting move for us as we look to significantly grow our presence and profile in London over the next few years. Relocating the majority of our London staff in one central location presents us with a fantastic opportunity to promote even greater collaboration between teams within a modern and agile working environment.”
